No two days are ever the same! Being responsible for the day-to-day operations of RCH care homes, means that each day is varied and you never quite know what you may be dealing with next!
My favourite part of the job is being able to spend time in our care homes, with the residents and also with the staff who are on the front line and seeing the great work that occurs in our homes each and every day.
A key part of my role is working with our General Managers to support and develop our services and the people who work within them, so that our services can meet the varied needs of our residents.
Why do you love working for RCH care homes?
I have worked for RCH Care homes for the past 10 months, making a decision to leave a large provider and joining a smaller, family run business – who really care about what they are delivering. I love the family ethos of “our family caring for your family” and the core values of Respect, Caring and Honesty.
I truly believe that we work to our ethos and our values, and this is what makes us a good care provider.
What does a perfect day with your family look like?
I absolutely love taking a nice long walk on a Sunday, finishing with a good old traditional roast dinner – and a glass of wine!
