Park View Care Centre Spreading The Easter Cheer with The Whitstable Toy Run Association

Once again Park View Care Centre in Ashford took part in the latest Whitstable Toy Run!

Whitstable Bikers revved up their engines and hit the road to spread some Easter cheer and Park View Care Centre, represented on the day by Zsuzsanna Peli was right there with them.

The Whitstable Toy Association have committed to a wonderful cause of giving; sharing joy and happiness with the ones who need it most. These amazing bikers embarked on a heart-warming mission of giving back to the community and their destination this time around was the Orchard School in Canterbury, a special state school for boys and girls.

Decked out in their iconic biker gear – jackets, helmets, gloves, and boots – and armed with a ton of Easter Eggs, the bikers were ready to make a difference. And let me tell you, the sight of them riding in convoy was truly something to behold. As they set off, they were greeted with cheers and applause from onlookers, who lined the streets to witness their convoy. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation and joy.

The journey to the Orchard School was not just about delivering chocolate treats; it was about spreading love and kindness to the children and teachers alike. Over 130 Easter Eggs were donated to the school, each one a symbol of generosity and goodwill.

As a team, Park View Care Centre are dedicated and passionate about supporting and taking part in local community projects like this; extending kindness to others is not just a duty but a source of immense fulfilment for everyone at the home. We couldn’t be prouder of Park View’s involvement in the event and supporting Zsuzsanna.

Zsuzsanna shares her experience and joy of representing Park View Care Centre at the event….“It was still raining when we left the house but by the time we arrived at the meeting point in Tankerton Road car park in Whitstable, the sun started to come out at times :). Just over 150 bikes joined and had a friendly catch-up before the start. We took a long road from Whitstable through Herne Bay, down the Thanet way to Canterbury. A lot of people were on the streets cheering and waving so the atmosphere was brilliant. At the school, the staff very kindly offered hot and cold drinks to the bikers. It was a good and enjoyable day for a good cause.”
