Orchard House- Winter Warmer & Health and Finance Event 23rd November

On 23rd November from 13:30pm, Orchard House Care Home are launching a monthly Winter Warmer event which aims to support the local community during the colder months by offering a warm hub with refreshments, including home-made soup.
For the first event the home, which cares for those living with Dementia or Nursing needs has invited a number of local guest speakers who are going to advise on Health and Finance.
Joining the event will be local PCSO David York, who will be discussing fraud and scams affecting the area, Eike Warren from Ward Gethin Archer solicitors sharing professional advice on Wills and Powers of Attorney. They will also be joined by a member of the local District Nurses Team who will be giving advise on ways to keep healthy this winter. Finally, we will be joined by our recent Great British Care Regional Dementia Carer Award winner Dementia Ambassador Honey Berry who will be on hand to answer your Dementia based questions.
