Brentwood Care Centre Dementia Café 9th December

Join Brentwood Care Centre’s General Manager Torie Sabbarton and Dementia Ambassador Melanie Smith for their Dementia Café on the 9th December 2pm-4pm

The home in Larchwood Gardens, Brentwood, which offers Residential, Nursing or Residential Dementia support and care, is hosting there second Dementia Café in what is now a firm fixture for the homes calendar.

The café’s are held on the second Friday of every month and will be supported by the home’s Dementia Ambassador Melanie Smith, and when ever possible visiting guest speakers.

Brentwood Care Centre is dedicated to supporting those living with Dementia and their loved ones. The aim of the cafés is to enable those affected by Dementia the opportunity to meet, not only the trained and dedicated team at home but also other individuals who are living similar experiences in a welcoming, friendly and relaxing atmosphere; with refreshments and lovely home-made cakes to enjoy.

When you come along to one of the Dementia Cafés you be able to take a tour of our Dementia Friendly environments that have been specially design, decorated and furnished.

There also be a chance to see and experience some of the innovative technology and services available within the home such as, the Digital Rainbow Tablet and Motitech Bikes that promote emotional and physical wellbeing.
