Woodlands Care Centre Say Thank You for a Decade of Care At Retirement Party
The team at Woodlands Care Centre in Cambridge recently came together to hold a thank you and retirement party for two of its valued team members.
Dolores Cosio the home’s Nursing Dementia Manager and Roberto Cosio part of the Catering Team, have been part of the RCH Woodlands Care Centre family for the last ten years and this week both retired.
Everybody at the home couldn’t let them leave without letting them know just how important there ten years of service at the home has been. To mark the occasion residents, families and the team came together to surprise them with gifts, a party and familiar faces they had worked with over the years. It was a special way to celebrate their dedication and hard work and, it was a lovely way to show them just how much they were appreciated.
Dolores had been the manager of the home’s Nursing Dementia community for the last Ten years. An experienced nurse, Dolores was passionate in every aspect of her role. She always went that extra mile to assist the residents in their daily life’s, supporting families and loved ones and liaising with external professionals; however, it was the residents who were always her first focus. Dolores has also guided, inspired and mentored a number of students who have gone on to become nurses or care assistants.
Roberto, who has been part of the catering team has always shown dedication to every aspect of his role. Always willing to support and go above and beyond. His caring and friendly nature and attention to detail has made such a difference on a daily basis to the residents and those he has worked with.
A personal message from Rubina, General Manager at Woodlands Care Centre, ‘They have both supported myself and the home going above and beyond, always willing and giving. Loved by residents, their loved ones, professionals and the team here at Woodlands Care Centred. I am extremely proud that they have been part of our family. We wish them Good Luck, Good health and Happy retirement. They both will be missed by woodlands team.’
