Romford Care Home- Winter Warmer Dining Club

Romford Care Home  this month launches a ‘dining club’ for those living in the area who may be finding the prospects of the darker and colder days daunting.
Customer Relations Manager Tracy Smith, who is part of the team leading this new community focused initiative at the home in Neave Crescent shared with us the idea behind it, ‘Every day we hear about the cost of living crisis and how it is going to effect everyone.

Being part of the Romford and Havering community is so important to everyone who lives and works at the home and giving back to our community is something that we are passionate about. As a team we wanted to come up with an idea which we thought might offer some practical support to those in our local community who may want to make new friends or enjoy some company whilst enjoying a hot home cooked meal during these colder months.

As well as enjoying a freshly prepared meal by the home’s Chef, the dining club will hopefully offer dinners the opportunity to meet new people, make connections and enjoy some company in a welcoming, warm, friendly and homely environment.
The home’s first Dining Club is on the 20th October from 12:30, there are also already dates in the diary for the coming months on the 22nd November and the 20th December.

Also, there is no need to worry if you have transport issues getting to the home as they are offering a transport service in the local area using the 01708 379 022 homes minibus. Booking is essential, if you would like more details or to book a place for yourself or a loved one please call

Romford Care Home offers bespoke person-centred Nursing, Residential Dementia and Nursing Dementia support and care.
