Situated in a pleasant tree lined residential area, Queens Court Care Home is a purpose-built home in the suburban town of Buckhurst Hill in the Epping Forest district of Essex,
Our ‘Good’ CQC rated home offers bespoke person-centred care for individuals living with Nursing, Residential and Dementia needs
Located over two floors, our home includes light and airy, open plan lounge/diners as well as spacious en-suite bedrooms, and a variety of communal spaces such as a bar, library, dementia-friendly garden room, hair salon, and activities room.
Our landscaped gardens are wheelchair accessible and designed to be a welcoming place for people to relax on one of the patios complete with outdoor furniture, or to enjoy a spot of light gardening.
We are perfectly located within a close proximity of local amenities, including a good range of shops, cafes and restaurants, less than a mile away. With good local transport links including local taxis, buses and the nearest Underground station is less than a mile away.
We have local sporting clubs including football and gold, art galleries, a cinema, garden centres and, right on our door step is the historical Epping Forests which is just three miles away.
At Queens Court Care Home, we are very proud of our strong community links and regular involvement with local community groups, charities, schools and nurseries, churches and businesses.
Lifestyle & Events
Supporting our residents to enjoy every day living at Queens Court is a key focus for our dedicated team.
By getting to know each person, we are able to tailor our activities and events to their likes and dislikes as well as activities they may like to try.
No two days are the same here and, alongside our usual daily hobby-based activities, we also like to host events which are a little out of the ordinary.
In addition to keeping fit with our chair-based exercises, art therapy, quizzes and movie afternoons, we also take great pleasure in welcoming visiting entertainers, schools, nurseries, therapy animals and groups to our home to enjoy spending time with our residents.
Our team and residents also love visiting local attractions and getting dressed up for our themed days throughout the year — complete with themed menus and decorations!

Dementia-friendly activities
Our team takes a considered approach to dementia-friendly activities and meaningful engagement — supporting our residents who live with dementia to still experience happiness, comfort and contentment.
With an in-depth knowledge of people’s life histories, we are able to encourage positive reminiscence and create a safe and supportive environment where people feel comfortable taking part in both familiar and new activities, trips and events.

Food & nutrition
We are proud of the high quality of our meals here at Queens Court which are carefully designed to be enjoyable whilst providing balanced nutrition to our residents.
They are lovingly cooked and prepared by our in-house catering team and follow the seasons.
Regularly rotating menus ensure we always have meals which cater to our residents’ likes and dislikes, including those who require modified or specialist diets.
To create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for our residents to enjoy their mealtimes, our tables are lovingly laid with crisp table linen, menus clearly showing what’s on offer and cutlery and dinnerware which supports their independence.
Fee Information
Our fees start from £1,650.00 per week.
All fee’s are based on a pre-admission assessment conducted by the team at Queens Court Care Home. Our Nursing fees do not included FNC contribution (NHS-funded Nursing Care)

Meet the Manager
Daniela Caprioara is the Registered Manager for Queens Court Care Home
I joined Queens Court Care Home in 2023 as Deputy Manager and in 2024 stepped into the role of General Manager. As a Registered Nurse, I have over ten years of experience within the health and social care sector, working in both clinical and managerial roles across the NHS and the private sector. This experience has shaped my approach to leadership and strengthened my commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
As General Manager at Queens Court Care Home, I am dedicated to providing residents with the very best care in a compassionate and understanding way. I strive to create a happy, friendly, and familiar environment that supports wellbeing and helps everyone feel at home. While the role is varied and complex, it is incredibly rewarding, and I genuinely care about residents, the team, and the wider care home community.
I am proud to be the manager of Queens Court. It is a lovely place to work, and the strong sense of community shapes the values, beliefs, and dedication of the team, who place residents’ needs and preferences at the heart of everything they do. Queens Court is an inclusive and welcoming environment for residents, families and loved ones, staff, and visiting professionals.
