For International Women’s Day, we want to shine a light on members of the RCH Team who everyday inspire us with their leadership.

Angela Gibson Director of Care and Quality, Clare Silvester Head of Care and Governance and  Head of HR and Development.

Last year their leadership, especially during the last two years, was recognised at the The Great British Care Awards London Region Awards where they were announced winners of the Frontline Leaders award and finalists at this year’s National Great British Care Awards

Angela Gibson Director of Care and Quality

Angela is a seasoned professional and has an extensive unblemished career in Health and Social Care, working in Strategic Leadership roles across Adult Social Care within Essex County Council and the voluntary sector. Angela joined RCH Care Homes as Director of Care and Quality in 2019. Angela is an accomplished leader, striving for excellence within the RCH Care Homes portfolio. Angela remains our ‘go to person’ with her wealth of knowledge and experience valued by our front-line Home Managers and staff teams.

Clare Silvester Head of Quality and Governance

Clare has an extensive 36-year career in Health and Social Care, working in varying leadership roles within Essex County Council and the private sector as a leading consultant. Clare joined RCH care Homes in Oct 2019 as Head of Quality and Governance, Clare is a dedicated and passionate leader supporting the RCH Care Homes portfolio. Clare has been instrumental with embedding the RCH Governance framework and validating compliance within the organisation.

Pauline Manning Head of HR and Development

Pauline has an extensive career within Health and Social Care, joining RCH Care Homes on the 20th August 2018 as Head of HR and Development. Pauline is exceptional in her role, providing robust and current HR advise and support to our dedicated Home Managers and staff teams. Pauline is a strong and dedicated leader with a passion for development. Pauline has been instrumental with embedding RCH training and development strategy across the portfolio with the lead for recruitment, retention and reward schemes for our valued staff teams.
