Tracy Smith is the Customer Relations Manager at Romford Care Home
I joined Romford Nursing Care Centre as the Customer Relations Manager in June 2020. My role is to support residents and families who are looking at moving in to a care environment. I live within walking distance of the home with my husband and young son, which gives my strong links to the local community.
The Journey into a care environment is a huge decision for anyone and often made at a critical point which makes it very emotional. I feel very strongly about being able to offer the best advice and guidance about the facilities and services within our Home.
No two journeys are the same and I pride myself on building a relationship with each prospective resident and their family. I feel privileged to be part of their journey and to have the opportunity to continue to support them throughout.
Every day is different, but I go home with a sense of pride that I have made a difference to the lives of our residents and their families.
