Charlie LeBatt is the Deputy Manager at Brentwood Care Centre
I am the Deputy Manager at Brentwood Care Centre, supporting and working alongside the staff team to provide outstanding care to the residents. Outside of work I care for my two horses and enjoy competing in jumping and dressage.
My journey in care started when I was 18 years old and worked as a care assistant with children with learning disabilities. I knew at that point I had found a profession where I could make a difference, I then went on to qualify as a nurse at London Southbank University. My clinical background has been predominantly in Accident and Emergency, working at two major trauma centres as a charge nurse. I moved into the Care Home sector starting out as a Dementia Nursing Unit Manager. I have been Deputy Manager and a Peripatetic Manager in my previous roles. The wellbeing, dignity, security and happiness of our residents is at the forefront of everything I do. I am proud to work with the staff team to make Brentwood Care Centre a home from home. I look forward to making happy memories with staff and residents.
