Queens Court Nursing Home provides residential and nursing care for people living with Dementia, and also caters for elderly frail residents and those with a physical disability.
Our residents’ en-suite rooms are warm, comfortable and individually decorated to high standards for each individual’s needs. A television and telephone point is available in every room and residents are encouraged to bring their own ornaments and pictures to make their own room feel even more homely.
A nurse call system is available 24/7 which gives residents and their relatives’ peace of mind. Our entire home is easily accessible with wheelchair access and a lift.
We have six spacious lounges and four dining rooms, where our residents enjoy fresh home-cooked food. A daily activities programme provides plenty of choice to get involved and for those who want to get away from it all and relax there is a patio area and gardens. We also have a hair salon, regular church services and a local chiropodist who visits our home on request.
Queens Court sits within beautifully landscaped grounds close to Epping Forest. There is plenty of car parking and is easily accessible by public transport with Buckhurst Hill a 3 minute walk from the home including a bus stop just a five minute walk away. Local amenities include shops, a newsagent a Methodist church and a popular local pub.
At Queens Court Nursing Home we provide care and support to people at all stages of their Dementia journey. Find out more about our dementia strategy here.
I have found the standard of care very high at Queens Court. The activities are great and engaging for residents and friends and family.
