Kesson House Care Centre in Northfleet, Kent specialises in providing Dementia-friendly care and support for people with all stages of their Dementia journey and care for elderly, frail residents.
Our stunning home from home, with views over the River Thames, has many unique, original characteristics. Built in 1841, it was completely refurbished in 2014/15 and is decorated to a very high standard, with the Dementia strategy taken into consideration.
We offer accommodation for 38 residents, located over two floors in our main house. Residents are encouraged to bring their own ornaments and pictures to make their own room feel even more homely and familiar.
Our spacious and comfortable lounges and dining areas provide an opportunity for residents to socialise or relax and there is a regular programme of activities to choose from.
Our residents also have easy access to a hair salon and church services.
Located close to the A2 and M25, there is also a convenient main bus route to Dartford, Gravesend and the surrounding villages, together with good train connections from Northfleet.
At Kesson House we pleased to have recently been rated by the CQC as ‘good’ thanks to our dedicated staff and established management team.
Our home also benefits from a unique, dedicated convalescence suite, known as Carnaby Street which offers rest and recuperation with specially trained staff.
From the very first time I visited Kesson House I knew this was the place I wanted my mum to live in. Everyone, from the carers, nurses, housekeeping and reception staff are amazing!
I could not wish my mum to be in safer hands
