Respite care provides a short-term residential break, allowing the carer to recharge their batteries or to take a holiday, safe in the knowledge that their loved one will be well cared for.
Convalescence care provides a short to medium-term option for individuals who may need a little extra help to get back on their feet – for example after an operation or treatment in hospital. Our care team work with each individual resident. Helping them towards their ultimate goal of restoring confidence so that they are able to return home.
We are particularly proud of our purpose-designed convalescence facilities at Carnaby Street, located within Kent-based Kesson House, which has been specially created to help those who need a little extra time to feel confident in returning to their own home, after a spell in hospital.
Both our respite and convalescence residents benefit from a wide range of daily activities and opportunities to socialise with other residents, ensuring that even the shortest of stays is a positive experience.
